Probiotics plays an important role in health, and our breakfast should have it. But, before we find its importance, let’s see what probiotics is.

These are good bacteria and the gut has a blend of both good and bad bacteria. Probiotic creates a balance of intestinal floor. Most people think that it’s only the supplement, but fermented foods also have good bacteria.

Due to increased technology people now know that probiotics is a friendly bacteria that’s why they take it in various forms. There are certain foods which have this bacteria’s live cultures such as yogurt, fermented sauerkraut, and pickle.

Only a few people know the time when we should take it, before meal or with meal. But, there are different ways to have it in your diet, which depends on the type of probiotics.
For example, if you want to have it in the form of supplement then take it before breakfast, or before bed. You can do your breakfast after 30 minutes of taking it. You can take other types with meal, but empty stomach supplement is considered good for better results. However, it is not recommended to take it after any meal, because it increases the stomach acid levels, and the bacteria do not survive in this condition.

You can make your own fermented foods, but don’t take it from stores as they have salt. This food helps in many ways, such as it improves the digestion, makes the gut healthy, reduces the cavities, helps improve the nutrients absorption, resist infection, colds and flu, reduces cancer as colon, and reduces irritable bowel syndrome. You can take Kefir because it has lots of good bacteria.

Thus Probiotics help and should be included as part of any healthy breakfast regimen.
