Women were viewed as the weaker sex in society but not anymore. In fact, females now have the same right as men and they are as important in the formation of a community as their male counterparts. Health wise, they are smarter and wiser in their choices than that of men. And over the years, various foods were proven to optimize the health of women in every aspect. These are to be labeled by some girls as their super foods. 

There are those women who do not view meat as beneficial; but they should know that they are obliged to take in certain meat every once in a while. It is just a matter of choice. When going to the grocery store, you should look for grass fed meat. Grass fed meat contains conjugated linoleic acid and healthy oils that are healthy for the heart. In addition, fats and calories are lesser. Following this healthy food choice, you will be able to eat this two to three times a week and not worry about any health problem. 

Curry has also been recommended, particularly the spice that gives it its color namely curcumin. Research revealed that the spice in curry has helped in preventing the development of certain types of cancer. Examples include multiple myeloma, breast cancer, lymphoma, pancreatic cancer, and ovarian. Until this moment, the beneficial amount of spice necessary to reap the effects is still unclear. 

Pistachio nuts has been found out to reduce the possibility of developing diabetes by decreasing the effects carbohydrates has on the body’s levels of blood sugar. It is because of monosaturated fats which lengthens the amount of time necessary for the absorption of carbohydrates. 

An intake of three to five 8-ounce of coffee in a day was proven to help preventing degenerative diseases and diabetes. The antioxidants present in coffee helps fight the amount of free radicals in the body directly preventing the cell’s damage. In addition, it increases the body’s antioxidants which help in reducing or eliminating the body generated free radicals. 

Shrimps should also be taken into consideration when talking about a healthy diet. Most would avoid it because of its cholesterol; but the cholesterol in shrimps has less to no effect on the body compared to trans-fat, which is widely known to be very dangerous to the health. 

Lastly, Brussels were determined to help in the reduction of the incidence of cancer cells metastases. With the help of allyl isothiocyanate, responsible for its smell, preventing the rupture of cells which are precursor to cancer.
