Recently, studies have shown that there have been foods which are known to be super foods specifically for men. You may have consumed them unconsciously or not at all, but this is the key in maintaining the image of a man in society.

One of the supposed super food for men are nuts. Research has revealed that nuts contain oils that are naturally good for your health. It is also said that it controls ones appetite. Examples of these nuts are almonds. In addition, almonds also increase your fat burn for a maximum of three hours and a half. And in excess, it could help increase Vitamin E in the body. This vitamin is able to help improve the cognitive functioning of a man which is very important.

Eggs are part of the list as well. It has been proven that those who consume two eggs a day for five days showed reduction in bad cholesterol and an increase in their energy. Moreover, it does not show any affectation in the triglyceride and cholesterol levels. This is when you take in the entire egg, including the egg yolk. It has also showed more effects in muscle growth because of the amino acid leucine.

Whole grains are an inclusion as well. This affects the body’s weight more than anything else. It was found out that those who eat more whole grains than refined weighed 2.5 pounds less. In addition, whole grain eaters also lost 2.4 more belly fat than their refined grains counterpart. Whole grains are also very effective in controlling ones blood sugar which prevents wild spikes in the blood sugar.

Fatty foods are not necessarily fattening. In fact, the avocado can help you reduce weight in spite of the fat that it contains. But not common to commoner knowledge, avocado contains the healthy kind of fat which prevents rebound hungers. It contains fiber as well which increases the bulk of your diet, filling you up quicker.
