One of the reason I did the pan grill is that I could toast/warm my sub bun over the oil-juice from the grilled chicken, which added more flavor to the bread. This would be a good recipe for panini style sandwich as well.
Chicken Feta sandwich: Started out with a nice hearty whole wheat sub bun and applied just a little mayonnaise. Next laid out thin slabs of soft feta cheese and layered with tomato slices and grilled chicken with Italian seasoning (see previous wall post for the Grilled Chicken with Italian seasoning recipe) and finally garnished with finely cut fresh basil. It really turned out very light and yummy! :)
