In a pan heat some olive oil. Add a few cumin and fenugreek seeds. Next add some asafoetida if you have available- given it's health benefits, every kitchen should always have it! Then add peas- fresh or frozen. Sprinkle some turmeric, ginger powder and paprika (optional). Finally add Himalayan pink salt to taste. Cover for a few minutes- so peas are cooked but not too soft. Serve on a bed of fresh organic yogurt for a yummy, healthy one-dish lunch salad. :-)
