Radishes help in the fight against cancer
You may not believe it but research has proven that radishes have the capacity to kill cancerous cells. This is due to isothiocyanate and anthocyanin compounds found in radishes which effectively fight cancer cells. The most common type of cancer that can be fought with a radish diet is colorectal cancer.

Radish improves the health of the heart
Do you desire a healthy heart? Why not try out a meal of radishes! Vitamins, minerals and fiber contents in radishes make these plant foods the best in lowering cholesterol levels, regulating blood sugar levels and checking blood pressure. This effectively ensures that your heart stays strong and healthy.

Radishes help in detoxification
The process through which harmful body waste is ridden off is known as detoxification. Radishes have sulfuric properties which assist in flushing off waste from the blood leading to effective detoxification. Black radish can increase oxygen levels in the body and protect the blood cells from getting damaged.
Radishes cleanse the kidneys
Due to their compounds, radishes effectively prevent urinary tract infections. When radish juice is consumed by a person suffering from a tract infection, it will ease his pain and shorten his recovery time.
